[ This post is entirely based on the stuff that I find to be promising from the current week, not a best of or highlights of the week list. The rest of the stuff I didn't find interesting due to preferences based on my taste and so this is solely my view. ]

A deadly terrorist organization has been tracking Kaname carefully, wanting to study her gift of "the Whispered," her telepathic skill, and they are willing to sacrifice everyone on the plane to capture her. Unfortunately for the terrorists, Sosuke Sagara, agent of the hyper-secret government commando agency, "Mithril," is undercover as one of the students. Mission: protect Kaname without her knowledge.
[ I liked the first volume of this series a lot more than I expected. New translation of an old school legendary light novel by J-Novel Club, I will read this as soon as I get my hands on it. ]
